In May 2023, four young aspiring entrepreneurs made the decision to apply for the KIC Agritech Challenge Classic 2023 competition and as luck would have it, all four(4) passed their respective interviews and were well on their way to being an Agripreneur💚🙌🏾.
Their vision as Team Tekcycle: Providing affordable, eco-friendly and biodegradable cleaning products made from pineapple spoilage and associated waste and refining this idea into an innovative startup worthy of its name(Pine-Up)❤️.
TeckCycle has made tremendous strides in the KIC Challenge since May 2023 as listed below:
🌱Qualifying in the First Classic Pitch among over 50 teams.
🌱Being one of the two Teams from KNUST to qualify from the Zonal Classic pitch among over 40 teams.
🌱Succeeding as one of the 20 teams out of 50 teams selected from the Classic stage to the Pro stage after the national Agritech Classic Challenge pitch.
🌱Excelling in the First Pro Pitch and being selected as one of the 35 teams to advance to the Pro Finals Pitch and finally,......drumroll😍🥁😅.
🌟TeckCycle has emerged victorious at the @kicghana Agritech Pro Challenge Finals as one of the promising and impactful startups to secure a grand prize funding of $20,000 for our innovative approach to revolutionize the detergents industry and provide an affordable and high-performance cleaning detergents which has the skincare of the consumer at heart🇬🇭👏🎉🎉‼️
